Building permission was a very long and complicated process, but because there are now a few buildings in the UK that use tyres, at least the planner knew of the method.  You might be best to get in contact with SCI-Scotland who built the first earthship in the UK, as they probably had to go through a lot more red tape than us.

The only building training that we had was going for a training day with SCI during their build, a reading how other people have done it in various books and websites.  We have no plans to do any formal training days but we welcome anyone who wished to visit and help out for a day or two. Perhaps if we get enough interest, we will try to arrange something more structured.

Die Baugenehmigung war ein langer und komplizierter Prozess, aber weil es schon ein paar Gebäude im UK gibt, die Altreifen verwenden, kannte der Planer schließlich die Methode. Du solltest am besten mit SCI-Schottland Kontakt aufnehmen, die das erste Earthship im UK gebaut haben. Die hatten mehr Papierkram zu bewältigen als wir.

Das einzige Bautraining, das wir hatten, war ein paar Tage bei SCI, während sie bauten und das Lesen von verschiedenen Büchern und Webseiten, wie andere Leute es gemacht hatten. Wir planen nicht offizielle Trainings zu machen aber wir heißen jeden willkommen, der uns besuchen und helfen will. Vielleicht, wenn wir genug Anfragen bekommen, werden wir versuchen etwas strukturiertes zu arrangieren.
